“Our Father”

Jesus gives us a pattern for prayer. We are asking him to teach us to pray as we take the time to look at his prayer, word by word, sentence by sentence. Today: “Our Father”

“Our Father.” Here Jesus reminds us that prayer is relational and conversational.

Prayer is relational. Prayer is conversation with our Heavenly Father. Adopted into God’s family by grace, we are sons and daughters with the privilege to come to our Father at any time knowing that we are loved, accepted, and cared for. Out of his love and concern for us, our Heavenly Father listens. And by His word and His Spirit, he speaks.
